Terms and Conditions for the workshop – Science, Sustainability and Me, October 2025.

1. Registration & Payment

• Registration is confirmed only after the form is filled out and payment of the workshop fee.
• Seats are limited and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Fees once paid are non-refundable, but may be transferable to another participant with prior approval.
• Transaction charges, if any, are borne by participants.
• No refund will be provided for a no-show.
• Travel expenses are not included in the workshop price.
• Travel,Medical, and Accidental insurance are not provided.

2. Participation Guidelines

• Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian if below 18 years of age.
• All participants are expected to respect the facilitators, fellow participants, and the property/venue.
• The workshop will be conducted primarily in English and Hindi.
• Participants must provide accurate personal details requested during registration. Any one of the ID proof (Aadhar Card/ Pan Card/Passport) of all the participants will be compulsory to carry.
• Parking at the venue is provided but is limited.
• Participants are requested to minimise the use of disposable plastic bottles. Please carry water bottles that can be refilled.
• The organisers reserve the right to deny participation to anyone engaging in unsafe or disruptive behaviour.
• Participants must follow the schedule.
• The workshop will follow timings regardless of participant delays if any.
• Timings of the sessions and activities are subject to change.
• No crackers, please.
• In matters of dispute, the organisers decision is final.

3. Meals and Accommodation

• Meals and accommodation are included in the workshop price.
• Room allotment will be decided by organisers. Families will be housed together.
• Individuals may have to opt between twin or triple sharing rooms. In case individuals prefer single sharing, you can write to us, and we can try to organise that at an extra charge.
• Check in time: 24th October, 2pm (If you plan to reach earlier, please inform beforehand )
• Check out time: 26th October, 12pm.
• Please bring your towel, toiletries and special medication, if any.
• Any damages to the room or property will be chargeable.
• Driver accommodation can be arranged at an additional cost.
• The following meals will be provided:
  On 24th October: Snacks with tea and Dinner,
  On 25th October: Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks with tea and Dinner. On 26th October, Breakfast and Lunch
• All meals provided will be vegetarian.
• Wastage of food is highly discouraged.
• Any food allergies or intolerances should be communicated in advance at the time of registration.
• Special requests for food might be accommodated at an additional charge.

4. Safety & Liability

• All activities will be conducted under supervision, with safety measures in place.
• However, participation is at the individual’s own risk. CurioSci and its team are not liable for any accidental injury, theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times during the workshop.
• Comfortable shoes for the nature trail are advisable. In addition, home chappals are also recommended as floors can be cold.
• The nature trail requires a small climb. It is an easy climb but this activity is not wheelchair friendly.
• Loud music/ disturbance not permitted.
• Smoking only in designated areas.
• Alcohol consumption during workshop hours is not permitted.
• Pets are not allowed.
  
• Medical Emergencies
  • In case of a medical emergency, the organizers will make every reasonable effort to provide immediate first aid and arrange medical assistance if required.
  • Parents/guardians must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs of their children at the time of registration.
  • Any medical expenses incurred during treatment or hospitalization will be the responsibility of the participant/parent/guardian.
  • The organizers are not liable for any pre-existing medical conditions or unforeseen health issues arising during the workshop.

5. Photography & Media

• Photographs and short videos may be taken during the event for documentation and promotional purposes.
• By registering, you consent to the use of these images/videos by CurioSci on its website and social media platforms. (If you wish to opt out, please inform us in advance by email/WhatsApp.)
• Photography/videography by participants of others requires their consent.

6. Changes & Cancellations

In case of unforeseen circumstances (bad weather, minimum registrations not met, etc.), the organizers reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the workshop. Participants will be informed promptly, and the fee will be refunded fully within one month.

7. Agreement

By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the above Terms & Conditions and agree to abide by them.
